Staying on the Plan
Let’s go back to her interview. Jessy stuck to her plan. She planned to drive to her interview and then go to the station to finish it. Perhaps she’d even bring up Amber during her interview. Jessy is treated like a star at the TV station. Why? What did they know that made Jessy famous? Jessy took the time in the waiting area to reflect on her day. In the last two hours, she felt that her advocacy had expanded and grown so much. Jessy was motivated to speak out because her friend Amber had been wrongfully arrested.
Jessy spoke passionately and clearly about her cause and journey. She wanted to let people know that her horse was wrongfully taken away from her and why she felt it important to speak up about it. She wanted to ensure that her friend’s story of being wrongfully arrested and getting justice was heard. Jessy’s interview was inspiring and powerful.
