Calming down
Jessy finally sat back down and felt calm. Amber was a great help to her, especially since they did not know each other. She could tell that Amber was starting to trust her. She was grateful to have a friend such as Amber. Amber drove Jessy to a more private location so she could breathe and get away from all the attention. Jessy was relieved to regain her composure. Jessy was overwhelmed and terrified to be the center of media attention. She had never been in a similar situation before. Amber was happy to be there for her.
Jessy appreciated Amber’s quick-thinking, because the media can be relentless and overwhelming. She was grateful that someone had shown her the way to leave. Amber drove the car around the veterinarian’s office, away from the media. Jessy was able to take some time to rest and regroup. This kind of situation can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming for anyone who has not been trained to deal with media. Amber was there to support Jessy. Amber then revealed something to Jessy that completely shocked her.
