The media stopped her before she even got close to the vet! What did they know and how did they find out? She was bombarded with questions, and they kept calling her horse Africa. How did she know this name? She was even more surprised to discover that they were there because of her horse! She was shocked that she didn’t expect to get so much attention, and thought at best the local community might help. She was shocked by the number of reporters and cameras that surrounded the vet and the horse.
It was her first time in the spotlight and she had a lot of things to absorb. She was surprised at how much attention she received once it was revealed that she owned the horse. She didn’t know what they wanted to know about her pony. Why were they camped here? What was their interest in her horse and what were they looking for from her? Jessy had no idea what they wanted when she began her day. She was only aware that she would work as usual and then go to the stables to visit Africa. She had no idea she would be going on a rescue and search mission, or that the media would be so interested in it.
