Lily asked, “Can we meet him?” The doctor said, “In a couple of minutes.” Lily grinned from ear-to-ear. “He’s now been taken to the recovery area to slowly wake up from anesthesia, but you can wait in room eleven.” She was eager to speak to her father once more.
