Soak the Socks

Wet-sock treatment is a commonly used home remedy for the condition. Before retiring to bed, soak your feet in warm water to warm them up, and then place on a pair of thin cotton socks that have been soaked in cold water.
Applying a pair of dry socks over a pair of damp socks draws blood to the feet and reduces fever by increasing blood circulation.
A mustard foot soaking is also beneficial for fever reduction. Two tablespoon of mustard powder dissolved in water will increase blood flow to the feet.
