Chills and Shivering
When a person’s body temperature is excessive, they may experience chill and even shivering. The body attempts to increase its temperature in order to combat the cause of fever. Even during the summer, the individual feels extremely cold due to the high temperature.
With a fever, it is common to observe a person feeling cold, putting on additional layers of clothing, and having a hot body. Additionally, the body twitches, which is a response to chills and muscle contraction and is commonly observed in influenza.
