What You Need to Know About Fever

Dehydration

In extreme temperatures, the body must frequently consume water. A person can suffer from dehydration if they do not drink enough water. Dehydration can be caused by persistent perspiration during fever or by the loss of more water. Consequently, the body becomes dehydrated during a high fever.
