Blood Clot Fever
Blood clots can form in any part of the body, including the legs and extremities, causing swelling and pain. If the clot breaks off and travels to the lungs, the inflammation of the blood vessels may cause chest pain. Inflammation can result in a fever. A person exhibiting these symptoms must be hospitalized immediately.
