Nutritional administration
Research conducted in 2019 indicates that ketogenic diets are effective in treating schizophrenia. A ketogenic diet is high in fat, whereas a minimal carbohydrate diet also includes protein-rich foods. However, dietary changes are not always effective for individuals with schizophrenia. More research is required to determine whether there is a connection between nutrition and schizophrenia. Always consult your healthcare provider before making significant dietary changes. Dietary modifications cannot be substituted for any medication.
