vitamin supplements
A 2014 review of research indicates that B vitamins, including vitamin B6 and B12, may be useful in treating schizophrenia. Several of these micronutrients have been used in numerous studies. The researcher also examines some minor studies that suggest vitamin E and vitamin C may be effective. However, the evaluations indicate that additional research is required. While some studies in this review establish a link between vitamin D deficiency and early-onset schizophrenia, the correlation is not statistically significant. It is still unclear whether individuals who have been diagnosed with schizophrenia would benefit from taking this vitamin.
