Variation in way of life

You may reduce your risk of developing kidney stones if you:
Taking in a lot of water
Those with a history of kidney stones are typically advised to consume a large amount of fluids in order to produce approximately 2,1 quarts (2 litres) of urine daily. Your physician may ask you to measure your urine output to ensure that you are consuming enough water.
Consume fewer oxalate-rich foods.
If you form calcium oxalate stones frequently, your doctor may advise you to avoid oxalate-rich foods. These include beets, spinach, and rhubarb, as well as sweet potatoes, black pepper, chocolate, and soy products.
