Most medications, without confounding two names: doctor’s name and company name. For instance, the trade name for Ciclosporin is Neoral. Typically, a physician uses the actual name of the medication or substance. Some drugs fall into the following categories:

Antibiotics for the treatment of hemodialysis infection

Gentamicin Vancomycin
Nota bene: the blood levels must be measured after each dose, which is administered by injection.

Antibiotics following kidney transplants

Isoniazid (as a tuberculosis preventative)
Amphotericin (helps prevent fungus infections)
Co-trimoxazole (helps prevent pneumocystis or CDC or PCP-associated pneumonia)
The majority of these medications may be discontinued six months after a transplant.

Note: primarily provide a course intravenously or in dialysis fluid; thereafter, blood levels must be measured.
