Most medications, without confounding two names: doctor’s name and company name. For instance, the trade name for Ciclosporin is Neoral. Typically, a physician uses the actual name of the medication or substance. Some drugs fall into the following categories:
Antibiotics for the treatment of hemodialysis infection
Gentamicin Vancomycin
Nota bene: the blood levels must be measured after each dose, which is administered by injection.
Antibiotics following kidney transplants
Isoniazid (as a tuberculosis preventative)
Amphotericin (helps prevent fungus infections)
