What Is Nephropathy?

High Blood Pressure, also known as Hypertension

The second-leading risk factor and cause of chronic kidney disease is high blood pressure. High blood pressure is a condition in which the heart pumps blood throughout the body with excessive force. Patients with elevated blood pressure can develop chronic kidney disease over time.
