Stage 2 ( Fibrosis).
When you do not treat the irritation the irritation will start to scar the liver. These scar tissue will replace the healthy liver tissue, and thusa reduce liver capacity. Fibrosis is the name of this whole cycle. When the liver’s ability to function drops, fat and poisons will continue to develop in the liver. The scar may also delay the blood flow to the liver.
You can still save your liver at this stage by avoiding certain drugs and lifestyle choices. The liver is a remarkable repairer and it may recover from this stage.
