Age
Acne is the most prevalent skin condition among adolescents. However, this does not preclude adults from having acne. Acne affects individuals of all ages. However, acne typically disappears by the age of 30. Acne begins between the ages of 10 and 13, but some individuals over the age of 25 continue to develop pimples and zits due to oily skin. Even after age 40, a family history of acne can induce acne. Newborns can develop acne, which is believed to be caused by hormonal changes in the mother during pregnancy. However, this acne disappears with time and does not leave acne scarring.
