What Does Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS) Entail?

a fever

Hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) is characterized by a fever that develops after the initial acute kidney injury and persists after the return of normal kidney function. Haemolytic uraemic syndrome is associated with fever because the kidneys are unable to eliminate fever-causing substances from the body.
