Turmeric & Watermelon Smoothie
This smoothie is both healthy and delicious. It combines watermelon, fresh turmeric and ginger. This smoothie is a great way to start the day in a healthy and refreshing manner.
Ingredients
- Half Cup Water
- 3 tablespoons of coarsely chopped fresh Ginger
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- Watermelon seeds, 4 cups
- Alternatively, you can use 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric or 3 tablespoons of freshly peeled and coarsely chopped fresh turmeric.
- Coconut oil extra virgin 1 teaspoon
- Honey 4 teaspoons
- Ground Pepper
Method
- In a blender, combine water, lemon, turmeric, ginger, honey, coconut, pepper and watermelon. Blend until smooth and serve chilled.
