Chicken Turmeric Pilaf
Ingredients
- 1 tsp of ground turmeric
- Basmati rice 250g
- Onions 2 Large
- Garlic, 2 cloves crushed
- Cardamom 6 pods, squashed
- Fine green beans 100g, halved
- Butter 50g
- Vegetable stock 450ml
- Spinach 100g, chopped
- Defrosted frozen peas, 100g
Method
- In a large pan, melt the butter and then add the onions sliced. Caramelize the onions.
- Add the green beans and garlic to the spices. Cook for 3 more minutes. Add the stock, rice, peas and spinach.
