Inflammation Of Tendons

Tendons are responsible for connecting muscle to bone and are therefore the most common cause of trigger fingers. The tendons run from the front to the back of the fingers and are attached to muscles in the forearm. Ligaments, which are strong tissues bands that hold the tendons in place on the palm, help to keep them there. The swelling or inflammation can cause the sheath or tendon to bulge. This makes it difficult for the finger to bend and may even be painful.
