Warm Pad

Pain can be relieved by applying a warm pad or cloth to the area. Heat helps to improve healing by increasing blood vessel size. To provide relief, apply the pad every 2 to 3-hours. You can also use hot water to relieve pain instead of a hotpad. Repeat this procedure several times per day. The heat treatment is highly effective when the finger has lost feeling or any nerves are stressed.
