Gums bleeding
External bleeding can include gum bleeding. Although gums are not considered skin, they do contain a thin layer of skin. Bleeding can happen. Gum bleeding may occur when teeth are being cleaned or during a simple dental treatment. Your dentist may detect bruising, bleeding and flossing when he examines you. This could be a sign of thrombocytopenia. Consult your doctor if you experience excessive bleeding of the gums. It could be an indication of another disease.
