It’s His Time To Shine
Both the best man and maid-of-honor had time to make meaningful speeches. When they said the usual wedding stuff, there wasn’t a single dry eye in that house. It was now Krysten’s father’s turn to shine. Everyone wondered what kind of emotional speech he’d deliver when he stood in front of the group. People who knew him expected him to crack a few jokes. No one expected his surprise.
Tension was rising
He started his remarks by expressing gratitude. He thanked all those who spoke of his beautiful daughter, and expressed how proud he is of her. He also congratulated Krysten’s new husband, exclaimed about his blessings, and spoke highly of how he treated Krysten. Everyone became upset when the dad began talking about Krysten’s childhood. The mood was about change.
