“Hurry up!”
Ian and Violet, who were both energetic, hurried ahead of their parents as they continued to climb the mountain. Their youthful enthusiasm was driving them forward. “Come on! Why are you so slow! You two look so old! They screamed back at their parents in a playful way, trying to get them to speed up their pace.
It was obvious that the anticipation was in the air. The children were literally bursting from excitement, as they wore wide-eyed looks and were full of restless energy. They were unable to stop looking out the window and exchanging animated conversation as they waited for their destination.
They were excited
They had been told by their parents that the hike they were about to take would be a pleasant surprise. The end of the trail led to a beautiful clearing next to a shimmering, vast river.
The plan was to hire a cute little boat, and then gently cruise the waters to give them a new perspective on the beauty of nature surrounding them, before returning to their camper. Ian and Violet were ecstatic at the prospect of renting a boat, as they had never been on one before.
