Then they drove to the edge of the forest and began the ascent. They were greeted with endless shades of green everywhere they looked.
The dense forest with its thick canopy of trees and the teeming wildlife was a stark contrast to their concrete jungle. Violet and Ian were both utterly and deeply mesmerized by this natural beauty!
Enjoying nature
Violet and Ian had only experienced the wilds in a limited way, having lived their lives in the city. They’d taken a few field trips for educational purposes and had taken a couple of short nature walks in city parks. But this was the first vacation where they really immersed themselves into the vastness that is nature.
They were amazed by the diversity of animals they saw, from birds of paradise and elusive jungle creatures to towering trees and exotic flowers.
