stood at a height of 7 feet 2 inches. In 2019, she was inducted into FIBA Hall of Fame. Unfortunately, this happened eight years after her tragic death.
Jorge Gonzalez – 8 feet
Jorge Gonzalez, an Argentinian wrestler and basketball player, belongs to the rarest of athletes who have reached a height of eight feet. Jorge Gonzalez was 6 feet 4 inches tall at the age of 14. Due to his gigantism he continued to grow. He finally reached the height of “El Gigante”, earning him the nickname. He is best known for defeating The Undertaker in his first ‘Royal Rumble,’ but he has also won a bronze basketball medal.
