No Money
Billie and Peggy were both mechanics and students who had very little money. They had never even thought about saving for their future. Peggy gave Billie her high school ring on the wedding day because she could not afford to purchase a wedding band. Billie was not bothered; all that mattered for him was to be with Peggy. He thought that everything would fall into place by itself. The couple was in love despite the difficult circumstances, anxiety, and uncertainty.
A Challenging Beginning
They had their eyes on the future, and they were certain that they wanted children to expand their family. The couple had no money and so had to devise a plan on how to start a family despite their situation. Billie was to take care of the financial aspects of the family, and Peggy would be at home caring for the baby and any future children.
