Paying Respects
Peggy started to show her respect to her late husband by returning to the City on an annual basis as soon the story was made public. Peggy goes as far as traveling out to the crash site in the woods. Guy Surleau accompanies Peggy on each of these trips, as he is the sole witness to the terrible event and the only person who can remember the details. Guy feels regret at not being able to help Billie. Peggy has said that during their conversation that she’s simply happy that her husband is a good neighbor.
Feeling settled

Peggy deserved to have a sense of relief after seven decades. She felt like a burden had been lifted off her shoulders. She knew he was a man of honor whose goal in life was to help other people.
