Unthoughtful Announcement
Peggy had not received satisfactory answers to all her questions, even though 2205 was here. Peggy’s tale was slowly becoming more well-known. Rep. Thornberry of the local delegation decided to issue a public statement addressing this situation. He was completely unaware of any facts and was uninformed. Rep. Thornberry said that Billie had been a brave soldier before, but she went on to say incorrect things and give incorrect information. He was forced to make a second public statement and a private statement because his team provided him with inaccurate information. He apologized to Peggy for spreading false information.
Lack of Empathy
Thronberry’s lack of remorse was regarded by many as a PR ploy. Peggy found herself in the same situation as before due to the mismanagement information. She had to find out what happened to her husband. She didn’t know that she would soon be able to access reliable leads. ALton Harvey was Billie’s cousin and he had the answers. The truth would soon be revealed.
