Hide her feelings
They were surprised to find that there was nothing strange in the house, or its surroundings. Jackie wasn’t even home. Jackie’s vehicle was missing. Pipa hid her feelings, even though she was upset. Someone would have told Jackie what she had done, or called her crazy.
She could not allow this to happen.
