The buttocks

Within your hip joint

Pain from other areas of the body, such as the groyne (due to a hernia or back condition), may radiate to the hip. You may believe that any physical activity makes your pain worse, particularly if it is caused by arthritis. Along with such discomfort, you may experience a decreased range of motion. Paget’s bone disease

Paget’s disease affects the formation and remodelling of bone, resulting in its deterioration. It primarily affects the pelvis, causing it to develop out of shape. This may occasionally cause hip pain, but it is treatable with a class of drugs known as bisphosphonates. Bisphosphonates are used to treat bone diseases such as Paget’s disease and osteoporosis, as well as bone loss.
