Occupational treatment

If you believe that certain activities or your job may be the primary cause of your discomfort, you should consult with an occupational therapist. Consequently, an occupational therapist is a trained professional who can assist you in recuperating your independence by advising you on how to modify the way you perform tasks. In addition, they can explain how certain modifications or devices can reduce the stress on your hip at work, at home, or while commuting. They will be able to advise you on how to modify your movements in order to prevent pain from returning or persisting. If your workplace has a department of occupational health, they may also be able to assist.
