Gastric Polyps

A polyp is a mass of cells that extends beyond the adjacent margins and is the result of cell division. The abnormal division of cells in the stomach’s gastric membrane can result in stomach cancer. However, the majority of lumps caused by gastric polyps are noncancerous, but some may develop into cancer over time. There are various varieties of gastric polyps.
