High fructose Corn Syrup is the worst offenders in this category. It’s found in many processed foods and beverages. You’ll find, for example, 15 teaspoons in a 20-ounce soda! Sugar is a favorite of cancer.
Alternatives: Always check the ingredient list before buying packaged foods. You may be surprised by the amount of sugar. You can satisfy your sweet tooth by eating whole fruit instead of candy.
