Ringworm (Overview, Symptoms, Causes, Risk factors, Home Remedies, Treatment and prevention)

Powdered licorice

Licorice is a common herb used in traditional Chinese medicine. Licorice has antiviral and antimicrobial properties.

You can use it as a home remedy to treat ringworm or other fungal infections. Mix three tablespoons of licorice powder into a cup water for best results.

The mixture should be boiled, then lowered to simmer for 10 minutes. The liquid should cool and form a paste.

This mixture can be applied to the ringworm patches two times per day. Allow it to rest for 15 to 20 mins each time, before rinsing.
