Swollen glands

In some cases, swollen glands are visible. Touchable lymph nodes can be seen or felt on the neck and back of the head. In the area where the ringworm first appeared, tender lesions develop. This condition is caused by hypersensitivity to ringworms. In severe cases the ringworm on scalp can develop into a kerion, which is an abacus that’s caused by fungi. Kerion can occur on other parts of the body, such as the face.
