Deep cracks
Ringworm can cause deep cracks on the feet and palms. Cracks may appear as the skin becomes very dry. The infection can spread to fingernails if it does. On the back of the hands, ring-shaped patches are also visible. The infection can spread to other parts of the body if the person touches them. If the infection is barely touched, it can spread to the rest of the fingers and other parts of the body.
