Pulmonary Embolization (Blood Clots in Lungs): Symptoms. Causes. Diagnosis. Types. Pathophysiology. Medications. Complications. Treatment.

Cancer

Cancers of the stomach, pancreas and brain can increase the risk of blood clots. Other cancers such as those affecting the uterus, lungs, ovaries or ovaries may also be at greater risk. Myeloma, lymphoma, and other blood cancers can cause the majority of patients to have a higher risk of blood clotting. The higher the cancer stage, the greater the risk of pulmonary embolism.
