Swelling of the arms and face
Arm and limb swelling is a recurrent symptom of malignant mesothelioma cancer. Edema is the medical term for the swelling of body regions, which is primarily caused by fluid accumulation. The accumulation of surplus fluid in the body cavities is caused by the growth of tumor cells in various organs, such as the lungs, heart, and testicles, resulting in swelling of the arms and legs. Edema is also characterized by enlargement in the face, lower extremities, and abdomen, among other areas of the body.
