General fatigue
A sense of general fatigue and weakness is one of the most prevalent symptoms of malignant mesothelioma cancer. The general weakness is caused by the consumption of protein and energy by the developing tumors. As tumors develop and consume body resources, normal cells are left with fewer resources to function normally, resulting in feelings of fatigue and weakness. In addition, the cancerous cells from the tumors influence the body’s hormone levels and secrete toxins that disrupt the normal functioning of healthy cells.
