Age
There is no correlation between age and the development of mesothelioma, but adults are more likely to develop malignancy. Several studies indicate that the typical age of mesothelioma patients is close to 69 years. The number also suggests that it takes between 20 and 50 years for mesothelioma to develop after asbestos exposure.
