Pericardial mesothelioma (heart)
Pericardial mesothelioma is the uncommon form of tumor. Nearly 200 cases of pericardial mesothelioma have been documented in the medical literature throughout history. With the assistance of surgery, some mesothelioma patients are able to outlive the average six-month life expectancy by years. The pericardium, which is affected by the tumor cells, is known as the pericardium. Pericardial mesothelioma is characterized by difficulty inhaling, chest pain, frequent coughing, and an irregular heartbeat. The prognosis for this form of mesothelioma ranges between six and fifteen months.
