Overview, Symptoms, Causes, Types, Diet, Treatment, and Management of Low Blood Glucose (Hypoglycemia)

Pancreatic tumor

The incidence of pancreatic tumors is uncommon, but patients with pancreatic tumors may develop hypoglycemia. The tumor growths in the pancreatic cells result in the overproduction of insulin, which is typically in excess of what is required. A decrease in blood sugar can be indirectly caused by the excessive or abnormal production of insulin by a malfunctioning pancreas.
