Feeling dizzy or lightheadedness
As the brain lacks the required amount of glucose as fuel for the functioning of brain cells and tissues, a person experiencing dizziness or lightheadedness will experience syncope or feel closer to passing out. Consequently, the individual encounters vertigo or faintness. Due to a lack of glucose, the brain cells begin to malfunction, resulting in a sensation of dizziness. Patients experience loss of consciousness in severe cases of hypoglycemia. Eating or drinking a starchy substance can effectively restore glucose levels to normal levels.
