Overview, Symptoms, Causes, Treatment, Complications, Prevention, and Management of Cystic Fibrosis

Eliminate smokeĀ

As lungs are severely affected by cystic fibrosis and smoking can significantly exacerbate the condition, do not smoke and do not permit others to smoke around you. Smoking is harmful to the lungs, but when a person with a lung disease inhales cigarette smoke, it increases wheezing and makes it difficult for the patient to breathe. In order to protect the airways, both smoking and air pollution should be avoided.
