Electrolyte imbalance

Many electrolyte abnormalities, including hypokalemia, hypernatremia, and hyperbicarbonaemia, are typical of cystic fibrosis. The patients’ saline perspiration disrupts the body’s mineral balance and level. This increases their susceptibility to dehydration. They suffer from fatigue, low blood pressure, and frailty.
