Liver disease
A chronic liver disease is a complication of this illness. The tubes that transport bile from the liver and gallbladder to the small intestine become blocked or inflamed, resulting in inadequate bile flow. Inadequate bile flow from the liver can cause constipation and liver fibrosis in patients. Mucus accumulates and obstructs hepatic bile ducts, preventing bile from leaving the liver and causing inflammation and scarring. Inadequate liver function causes numerous liver disorders, including hepatitis, fatty liver disease, gallstones, and cirrhosis.
