Infertility in men
Infertility is a critical symptom of cystic fibrosis observed in patients. The absence of a sperm canal in men, also known as congenital bilateral absence of vas deferens (CBAVD), causes male infertility. Patients’ sperms never transform into semen, rendering it impossible for sperm to reach the ovary and fertilise it. Sperm deficiency in sperm results in slender ejaculation and diminished sperm volume.
