Constipation
Constipation is one of the symptoms of the digestive issue. Reduced stool frequency is accompanied by increased stool consistency, abdominal pain, and distension. The prevalence of constipation in patients aged 0 to 26 is 26%, according to studies. The frequency of constipation is currently unknown.
Constipation occurs when mucus-rich defecation remains in the large intestine. When the body has viscous mucus but insufficient fluid in the intestine, constipation and even bowel obstruction can result. The symptoms of distal obstruction syndrome include hard faeces, constipation, and infrequent bowel movements. In extreme cases, the stomach may be completely obstructed, manifesting as a hard, immobile mass on the right side of the abdomen.
