Cramps and abdominal pain
Patients suffering from distal intestinal obstruction syndrome, a complication of cystic fibrosis, exhibit cramping and abdominal discomfort as symptoms. It occurs when mucus partially or completely obstructs the colon. The individual experiences cramps, abdominal discomfort, and bloating. The stools can be solid, and the intestines can become completely blocked. The individual experiences anorexia, vertigo, and vomiting.
