Clothing
Tight-fitting apparel, such as jeans and pants, can encourage the accumulation of moisture in the urethral and pelvic regions. This may prevent the infection from worsening. Doctors therefore recommend wearing unrestricted clothing during an episode of UTI. To minimise moisture and enhance comfort:
Keep the pubic region spotless and dry.
Avoid wearing restrictive apparel (jeans, pants, pads).
Use cotton pants instead of synthetic fabrics
